The Toyota Prius c made its debut at the 2012 North American International Auto Show and will join the Prius family to be available to U.S market in March of 2012. Having a starting MSRP below $19,000, the Prius c will be available in four trim levels offering desirable features, equipment, and enhanced capability. Designed to function as an urban friendly vehicle, the letter “c” stands for “city”, the Prius c has city fuel economy rating of 53 mpg. When traveling on the highway, it has fuel economy rating of 46 mpg. The Prius c is smaller and lighter than the midsize Prius. It measures 157.3 inch long, 56.9 inch high and 66.7 inch width.
