Unveiled at the 2013 New York Auto Show, the 2014 Mitsubishi Mirage returns to the North American market as the most fuel-efficient gas driven vehicle in the U.S.
In the U.S, the Mitsubishi Mirage was ended in its fifth generation (2007-2002) when it was available in coupe and sedan.  The Mirage sedans were replaced by the Lancer for 2012, whereas the Mirage coupe survived its final year – 2002.
Back to the U.S market after more than 10 years, the 2014 Mitsubishi Mirage makes its first impression by being most fuel-efficient non-hybrid gasoline vehicle available in America – said Mitsubishi, with manufacturer estimated fuel economy of 37 mpg city/44 mpg highway/40 mpg combined.
The 2014 Mitsubishi Mirage is powered by a 1.2-liter, 3-cylinder engine, which generations 74 horsepower at 6000 rpm and 74 lb.-ft. of torque at 4000 rpm.  It rides on 14-inch alloy wheels and is available with 5-speed manual or Continuously-variable transmission (CVT).
Exclusively offered in five passengers, 5-door configuration, the 2014 Mitsubishi Mirage sub-compact is expected to arrive at Mitsubishi Motors dealers this fall.
