Nissan LEAF NISMO Concept pictures – Hi-res. Images Nismo has brought the Nissan LEAF to the race track before with its LEAF NISMO RC. This year, showcased by Nismo at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show is the LEAF NISMO road car Concept. The Nissan LEAF NISMO road car Concept is the 2nd Nismo Concept following the Nissan Juke Nismo Concept at the Tokyo Motor Show. With the help from NISMO, the LEAF reveals the other side of it as it is not just a zero emission, environmental friendly, but it can be a fast and fun road car. The Nissan LEAF NISMO Concept features a body kit which gives the LEAF a stylish new look and significant aerodynamic improvement. The body kit includes rear under protector and diffuser, extended side sills and front aero bumper. With the same electric drivetrain as the standard LEAF, the Nissan LEAF NISMO Concept can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (0-62mph) in less than 7 seconds with a top speed of 145 km/h (about 91 mph). Honda to Debut EV-STER Concept at 2011 Tokyo Motor Show Honda just announced that it will debut its latest electric small sports concept car, the EV-STER. The world premiere will take place at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show. Honda announced this news 2 weeks ago, but at the time they couldn’t come up with the official name for this concept car yet. The EV-STER is an electric RWD two-seater convertible sports car and Honda introduces this car to propose a new way to enjoy a sports electric vehicle. Having dimensions measuring of 140.55 inch long, 43.31 inch high and 59.1 inch width, and thanks to utilizing carbon materials, the EV-STER is a light weighted car that can accelerate from 0 to 60km/h (0-37.28mph) in 5.0 seconds with a maximum speed of 160km/h (100 mph). Powered by a 10kWh lithium-ion battery, the Honda EV-STER concept has maximum traveling range of 160 km (100 miles) with a charging time of 3 hours for 200V or 6 hours for 100V. This concept is an all-new concept version of Subaru hinting at its upcoming production BRZ sports car, which features light-weighted body combined with refinements of STI. The body is installed with aero-tuned body kit, which includes a front spoiler, rear fascia, a rear wing, rear fender flares, a large rear-diffuser, a vented rear bumper and the carbon-fiber roof.Painted by a new generation of the iconic WR blue paint scheme, “WR Blue Parl II”, the BRZ concept has sleek, low and tightly-coiled bodywork blends with STI performance touches. The Subaru BRZ Concept features the new Subaru “FA” BOXER 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine exclusively designed for the RWD BRZ sports car.
