Unveiled at the 2013 New York Auto Show, the 2014 Mitsubishi Mirage returns to the North American market as the most fuel-efficient gas driven vehicle in the U.S. In the U.S, the Mitsubishi Mirage was ended in its fifth generation (2007-2002) when it was available in coupe and sedan.  The Mirage sedans were replaced by the Lancer for 2012, whereas the Mirage coupe survived its final year – 2002. Back to the U.S market after more than 10 years, the 2014 Mitsubishi Mirage makes its first impression by being most fuel-efficient non-hybrid gasoline vehicle available in America – said Mitsubishi, with manufacturer estimated fuel economy of 37 mpg city/44 mpg highway/40 mpg combined. Mitsubishi Concept GR-HEV at the 2013 Geneva International Motor Show Unveiled at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, the Mitsubishi Concept GR-HEV is a Sport Utility Truck that is built upon the combination of a pickup truck and a sedan.  It gets the functionality from the pickup truck – Triton and comfort levels from a sedan or SUV. Measuring about 213-inch long, 76-inch wide and 70-inch tall, with a wheelbase about 118-inch, the Concept GR-HEV has enough room for 5 occupants.  It is powered by a Diesel-Hybrid system consisting of a 2.5-L clean diesel engine and a front mounted electric motor.  The Diesel-Hybrid system emits only 149 g/km of C02, which is the highest level of environmental performance in its class.

Mitsubishi Concept CA-MiEV

Mitsubishi Concept CA-MiEV at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show In 2009 Mitsubishi launched the  i-MiEV , the world’s first mass produced electric vehicle, and at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show they unveiled the Concept CA-MiEV, which indicates Mitsubishi’s future direction for Electric Vehicles. The CA-MieV features lightweight components that are integrated in motor, inverter and charger module, helping reduce power losses.  In addition, it features a full-time regenerative braking system that enhances energy recovery rate. Equipped with a 28kWh battery along with the new aerodynamic and lightweight body, the CA-MiEV achieves a cruising range of about 185 miles. Charging the Mitsubishi Concept CA-MiEV is convenient thanks to the magnetic resonance wireless charging device along with the ability to use mobile devices to charge or discharge.
