Subaru debuted its all-new sports car, the 2013 Subaru BRZ, in the U.S today at the 2012 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS). Expected to arrive at the U.S dealerships in the spring, 2012, the Subaru BRZ is designed to focus on the low center gravity with low weight and precise handling. In addition, with room for 4 people, the BRZ is known to be a pure sports car with performance and practicality. Having the lowest centers of gravity at just 18.1 inches and weighing of just 2,762 lbls, the Subaru BRZ has one of the lowest centers of gravity of any production car in the world and is the lightest rear-wheel drive sports car in the U.S market today. Teaming with 6-Speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission, the Subaru BRZ is powered by an all-new 2.0-liter 4-cylinder FA-Series BOXER engine, which delivers 200 horsepower. Subaru BRZ Concept – STI pictures – Hi-res. Images Finally, the Subaru Concept STI revealed itself at the 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show. This concept is an all-new concept version of Subaru hinting at its upcoming production BRZ sports car, which features light-weighted body combined with refinements of STI. The body is installed with aero-tuned body kit, which includes a front spoiler, rear fascia, a rear wing, rear fender flares, a large rear-diffuser, a vented rear bumper and the carbon-fiber roof.Painted by a new generation of the iconic WR blue paint scheme, “WR Blue Parl II”, the BRZ concept has sleek, low and tightly-coiled bodywork blends with STI performance touches. The Subaru BRZ Concept features the new Subaru “FA” BOXER 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine exclusively designed for the RWD BRZ sports car. The Light-weighted BRZ Concept runs on 18-inch wheels with 215/45R18 tires coupling with Brembo brakes and STI-tuned suspension. See “Press Release”
