Scion unveiled its Scion Racing/GReddy FR-S race car at the 2012 North American International Auto Show. The FR-S race car will be driven by Ken Gushi in the 2012 Formula DRIFT series.

The Scion FR-S race car is a joint product between Scion Racing and GReddy, it delivers 600 horsepower and is built inspired by the all-new 2013 Scicon FR-S, which will go on sale in the Spring of 2012.

The FR-S – which stands for Front-engine, Rear-wheel drive, Sport. The Scion FR-S is produced inspired by the AE86 Toyota Corolla. It’s 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine is jointly developed by Toyota and Subaru [Subaru BRZ]
