2014 Infiniti Q50
Infiniti today unveiled the all-new 2014 Infiniti Q50 luxury sports sedan (formerly known as G Sedan1) at the 2013 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS).
Designed aiming at young, premium customers who look for Infiniti’s combination of performance and styling, the all-new 2014 Infiniti Q50 is designed inspired by the Infiniti Essence concept, which gives the Q50 a sporty exterior with lower and wider look.
Interior, the Infiniti Q50 offers outstanding roominess with a driver centric cockpit and a range of features that provide comfort and convenience the driver, which include, but not limited to, double touch-screen displays integrating hands-free phone, navigation and entertainment system.
The all-new Infiniti Q50 is available in gasoline and hybrid models. The gas powered Infiniti Q50 is powered by a 3.7-L V6 engine, which generates approximately 328 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque.
The Infiniti Q50 hybrid is powered by a 3.5-L V6, which approximately produces 296 horsepower and 255 lb-ft of torque, combining with a 50kW electric motor powered by a compact laminated lithium-ion battery, the Q50 hybrid system delivers approximately 354 horsepower. Like other hybrid vehicles, the Infiniti Q50 Hybrid offers different driving modes – Snow, Eco, Standard and Sport, which allow drivers to optimize driving experience in different environment.
The 2014 Infiniti Q50 rides on 17-inch aluminum-alloy wheels. Also available are 19-inch aluminum-alloy sport wheels.
Offered in a choice of Rear-Wheel Drive or All-Wheel Drive, the all-new 2014 Infiniti Q50 will go on sale in North American in the beginning of summer 2013.
