Lexus unveiled the all-new 2014 IS at the 2013 NAIAS (North American International Auto Show), and yesterday they officially released details of each model in the IS lineup, which includes IS 250 and IS 350.
The all-new 2014 Lexus IS sport sedan features an all-new bold design underlined by a signature spindle grille and a new headlamp cluster design with Lexus’ trademark, L-shaped Daytime Running Lights (DRL) located independently.  It has a larger wheelbase – about 3-inch more than of the outgoing model, the all-new 2014 Lexus IS has more rear legroom and cargo space.
The 2014 Lexus IS 250 is powered by a 2.5-L V6 engine, which produces 204 horsepower at 6,400 rpm and 185 lb.-ft of torque at 4,800.  Equipped with a six-speed Electronically Controlled Transmission (ECT), the 2014 IS 250 has 0-60 mph acceleration of 7.7 sec (8.3 sec for AWD) and top track speed of 140 mph (131 mph for AWD).  Estimated fuel economy for the 2014 Lexus IS 250 is 21/30/24 mpg (city/hwy/combined) (20/27/23 for AWD).

The 2014 Lexus IS 350 is powered by a bigger 3.5-L V6 engine, which generates 306 horsepower at 6,400 rpm and 277 lb.-ft of torque at 4,800 rpm.  Inherited the eight-speed, Sport Direct Shift (SPDS) automatic transmission from the IS F high-performance model, the 2014 IS 350 achieves 0-60 mph acceleration in 5.6 sec (5.7 sec for AWD) and top track speed of 143 mph (131 mph for AWD). Estimated fuel economy for the 2014 Lexus IS 350 is 19/28/22 mpg (city/hwy/combined) (19/26/21 for AWD).
Riding on 17-inch ten spoke aluminum alloy wheels with 18-inch wheels optional (18 x 8 in. front /18 x 8.5 in. rear), the 2014 Lexus IS features all-new multilink rear suspension, revised front suspension and steering that come from the GS series.
Available for all IS models is the F SPORT package, which includes unique 18-inch wheels, special suspension tuning, unique interior and exterior design.  The unique wheels and interior are designed inspired by the LFA where the wheels have a Y-spoke design and the interior features innovative driver’s meter cluster with a moving center ring.  Other interior features include F SPORT steering wheel and shift knob, aluminum pedals, and scuff plates with the Lexus logo.
Note: At the 2013 NAIAS, Lexus announced its very first IS hybrid model – the IS 300h.  The IS 300h will only be available in Europe, Japan and other international markets.   In addition, it has been reported that Lexus willdiscontinue IS F high-performance version after 2013 Model Year.

As the Acura’s flagship model, replacing the RL, the 2014 RLX is a luxury performance sedan which is the most advanced, powerful and spacious Acura Sedan.
