Introducing the VIZIV Concept at the Geneva Motor Show, Subaru gave hints to its future path of the new design direction and technologies.  VIZIV stands for “Vision for Innovation”.
Aiming to offer high efficiency and performance on all road surface conditions, the Subaru VIZIV is designed to balance between a solid-looking body and a compact cabin.  It features simple and clean surfaces on the outside, and fun, peacefulness and functionality on the inside.  Despite the compact cabin, the VIZIV Concept offers seats for 4 with generous legroom for rear seat passengers thanks to a lower floor that is made possible by the 100% motor-driven rear wheels in place of the drive shaft.
The Subaru VIZIV Concept is powered by a plug-in hybrid system consisting of a 2.0-L Boxer engine, CVT, front motor and two independent rear motors.  The front motor is responsible for both vehicle drive and power generation, whereas the rear motors are for vehicle drive only.  The motors and the engine are automatically selected and fined-tuned to power the vehicle to achieve high fuel economy and optimal driving experience basing on the travel environment and conditions.
Measuring about 170-inch long, 74.8-inch wide and 59.5-inch tall with a wheelbase of about 104 inch, the Subaru VIZIV Concept stands on an “Independent-rear-motor-driven symmetrical AWD” system and 20-inch wheels.

Debuted at the 2012 New York Auto Show as  a concept car  about 7 months ago, the Acura RLX production model official made its debut today at the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show. As the Acura’s flagship model, replacing the RL, the 2014 RLX is a luxury performance sedan which is the most advanced, powerful and spacious Acura Sedan. The 2014 Acura RLX is motorized by an all-new V-6 engine which produces 310 horsepower and 272 lb.-ft of torque.  Mated with a 6-speed AT, the 2014 Acura RLX is projected to secure a top spot in its class for fuel efficiency, which is rated 20 mpg in the city, 31 mpg on the highway and 24 mpg combined.
